You'll know exactly
where your child is at.
Every strand. Every subject.
Roamschool gives you the curriculum visibility that no other app comes close to — and the confidence that your child is not falling behind.
The parent dashboard that actually tells you something
Most apps give you a score. Roamschool gives you a curriculum map. The parent dashboard shows you every strand of the Australian Curriculum your child has covered. You see exactly where they are, in language that means something.
- Strand-by-strand coverage across all four subjects — Maths, English, Science, HASS
- Montessori stage descriptors for each strand: Introduced / Practising / Achieving / Extending
- Grade-level equivalent — "Charlotte is working at Year 3 Advanced in Maths" — the language parents actually understand
- Questions answered and accuracy rate per strand — so you can see how much practice they have had
- Whether they are working independently or using hints — a real indicator of genuine understanding

Generate a written progress report in seconds
At any time, you can generate a written narrative progress report for your child. It reads like a school report — describing where they are at in each subject, what they have been working on, and what to focus on next. You can read it yourself or share it with a tutor, grandparents, or anyone who wants to know how the kids are going.

Homeschool registration? We've done the paperwork.
Government-aligned reporting documents for every Australian state — pre-filled from your child's learning data.
Homeschool registration and annual reporting requirements vary across every Australian state and territory. Some require a detailed learning plan before you begin. Others require annual work samples, portfolio evidence, and a written progress report reviewed by an authorised person. Roamschool generates both documents you need — pre-filled from your child's actual learning data — as editable Word documents you can personalise and submit directly to your state authority.
Reporting frequency varies:
- QLD operates on a 12-month cycle
- VIC and NSW require an updated program at renewal
- SA and NT require annual reapplication
- ACT requires an annual progress report
The app generates the right document for your state's cycle.

Run it your way — flexible or structured
Some families want to go with the flow. Others want a plan. Roamschool supports both. You can switch between modes at any time, and adjust the plan as your trip changes.
Flexible Mode
Roo suggests what to work on each day based on your child's weakest strands and what they have covered recently. No timetable required. Just open the app and go.
Planner Mode
You set a weekly schedule: Maths on Mon & Wed, English on Tue & Thu, Science on Fri. Roamschool follows your plan and shows today's sessions on the home screen.

You're in control of the level
After the placement quiz, Roamschool sets your child's working level in each subject. If you feel the placement is not quite right — too easy, too hard — you can adjust it yourself from the parent dashboard. Change it for one subject without affecting the others. The app adapts immediately.

Plan the week. Track what gets done.
The built-in calendar lets you schedule learning sessions across the week — by subject, by day, by duration. You can see at a glance what is planned, what has been completed, and what has been skipped. It is not a rigid timetable — it is a flexible planning tool that travels with you. If you have a big driving day and nothing gets done, that is fine.

Every child, individually tracked
Add up to five children to a single family account. Each child has their own profile, their own tutor character, their own placement level in every subject, their own journal, and their own progress tracking. A 7-year-old and a 13-year-old in the same family each get content at exactly the right level — independently.
